Three things that matter the most in Daria's life are: God, family and music.
She grew up in a family that loves music and was formed by listening and developing a deep attachment for everything music. That’s exactly why she only needed one step to put her passion for music into practice.
At the age of 6 she started singing in the "Miracle Group" of the Sector 6 Children's Club. But at the Nostalgia Choir, was the place where she truly discovered the world of television and fell in love with this art or music.
At the age of 9 she started to participate in a lot of contests, festivals, shows and TV shows, where she wins numerous awards and distinctions (Finalist Mamaia Copiilor, Andantino Trophy, Star Melody Trophy, Simply the Best Trophy, Spring Star Trophy, Liliput Trophy, Martisor Trophy, Bucharest Kids Music Trophy, Allegria Trophy offered by Dan Voiculescu Foundation, etc).
This was her period of training and discovery, a period of trials that helped her to better understand this world (phenomenon), to adapt and most importantly to improve. It was also the period when she came into contact with television this time as a soloist which was a challenge with great satisfaction.
In 2014 Daria began her solo career. This was a pivotal moment most importantly because she began to take singing lessons with one of the most important Romanian teachers and composers - Mr. Marius Teicu. Composer of over 500 songs, he decisively put his mark on Daria’s training music.
In the spring of 2015 she participated in the NEXT STAR Show - Antena 1, where she delighted the audience by singing ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’, the winning song of Eurovision 2014. The same year Daria was selected to participate in the 2016 Next Star Show-Antena 1, with ‘Say You Love Me’ from the international repertoire, this way becoming the only Next Star participant to compete in two consecutive editions of the show.
The Next Star experience motivated her to even harder pursue her dream, giving her more self-confidence and also helping her to understand that through work and perseverance nothing is impossible. And the results weren’t long awaited. In the summer of 2015, she was rewarded for her musical activity with the Excellence Award from the Romanian Community Center in Canada.
